Vandellós I: New uses, integration and territorial connections
Vandellós I is an old-disused power station located in the surrender of L’Hospitalet de L'Infant.
The propose provides this area with new uses and integrate it in the town, increasing their connections and improving the site as small architectural interventions or refurbishment of existing buildings (some of them from the architect Antoni Bonet Castellana).
The connections between them are in a territorial way, with longitudinal paths, approaching some interesting points [natural landscape + existing architecture]. It keeps existing ways and adds new ways for pedestrian, horses, tourist train and boats.
Transversal pedestrian paths join this longitudinal lines, creating exchange points and facilitating the connection mountain-sea.
